When I took office, the pandemic was raging and the economy was reeling. From Day One, I was determined to not only deliver economic relief, but to grow the economy from the middle out and bottom up.Over the last four years, that's exactly what we've done.

Today, I have good news to report from the Middle East.
I have spoken to the Prime Ministers of Lebanon and Israel. And I am pleased to announce:
They have accepted the United States' proposal to end the devastating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
오늘 저는 중동으로부터 날아든 좋은 소식을 접했습니다. 저는 레바논과 이스라엘의 총리와 얘기를 나눴습니다. 그리고 저는 이 소식을 발표하게 되어 매우 기쁩니다: 그들은 이스라엘과 헤즈볼라 간의 파괴적인 갈등을 끝내자는 미국의 제안을 받아들였습니다.
I applaud the courageous decision by the leaders of Lebanon and Israel to end the violence. It reminds us that peace is possible. And so long as that is the case, I will not for a single moment stop working to achieve it.
