바이든, 흑인아동 빈곤율 줄였다고 자평

While we may disagree, we are not enemies.

We are neighbors, friends, co-workers, citizens, and – most importantly – we are fellow Americans.

We must stand together.

I'm sending a clear message to corporate landlords: If you raise rents more than 5%, you should lose valuable tax breaks. Families deserve housing that's affordable – it's part of the American dream.

저는 기업형 임대사업자들에게 명확한 메시지를 전달합니다: 만약 당신들이 렌트 비용을 5% 이상 인상하면 당신은 세금 우대를 받지 말아야 합니다. 가정들은 그들이 감당 가능한 주택이 소유해야 마땅합니다. 그것은 아메리칸 드림의 일부입니다.

Together, my Administration cut Black child poverty in half and grew the American economy to the strongest in the world. And I am determined to restore my expanded Child Tax Credit. No child should ever go hungry in America.

우리 행정부는 흑인 아동의 빈곤 수치를 반으로 줄였고 미국 경제를 전세계에서 가장 강력하게 성장시켰습니다.

그리고 저는 더욱 확장된 저의 부모 급여 자녀 세액 공제(Child Tax Credit) 시스템을 복귀시킬 것입니다. 미국에서 그 어느 아동도 굶주려서는 안됩니다.

I tested positive for COVID-19 this afternoon, but I am feeling good and thank everyone for the well wishes.

I will be isolating as I recover, and during this time I will continue to work to get the job done for the American people.

오늘 오후 저는 코로나19 양성 판정을 받았으나 괜찮은 상태이고 저의 건강을 위해 기도해준 모든 사람들에게 감사합니다. 저는 회복할 동안 격리할 것이며, 이 기간 동안에도 저는 미국인들을 위한 일들을 해내기 위해 계속해서 일할 것입니다.

I'll continue to speak out strongly for our democracy, stand up for our Constitution and the rule of law, and call for action at the ballot box, not violence on our streets. That's how democracy should work.

저는 우리 민주주의를 위해 강력히 주장합니다. 우리의 헌법과 법치을 지지합니다. 그래서  투표권 행사를 촉구하며, 우리의 길거리에 폭력이 존재하지 않도록 하는 일을 멈추지 않을 것입니다. 그게 민주주의가 어떻게 작동해야하는지를 보여주는 것입니다.
