바이든 "미국은 부자가 아닌 중산층이 만들었다"

With nearly 23,000 infrastructure projects funded since I became President, we're building an America that we'll be proud to pass down to our children and grandchildren.

제가 대통령으로 취임한 이래 재정이 투입된 23,000개에 이르는 인프라 프로젝트들로, 우리는 우리의 자녀들과 손주들에게 자랑스럽게 물려줄 미국을 만들고 있습니다.

My agenda is building our economy from the bottom up and the middle out. Because I'm sick and tired of trickle-down economics – it's never worked. Our economy should be one that helps to fill up kitchen tables, not the pockets of the ultra-wealthy.

우리의 경제는 극도로 부유한 사람들의 주머니를 채우는 것이 아니라 식탁을 채워가는 것에 도움을 줘야 합니다.

Today, I'll sign the most comprehensive set of actions any Administration has taken to increase access to child care and long-term care, and support care workers and caregivers.

오늘 저는 지난 어떤 정부가 취한 것 보다도 보육과 장기적인 돌봄에 대한 접근성을 증대시키고 관련 돌봄 종사자들을 지원하기 위한 가장 포괄적인 일련의 조치에 서명할 것입니다.

I can't think of a better place to talk about the progress we've made together than at a union hall. As I've said: Wall Street didn't build America. The middle class built America. And unions built the middle class.

As I address the Major Economies Forum on our climate challenges, let me make a few things clear:

We are committed to following the science. We are determined to strengthen our actions.

We will do what it takes to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.
